A few items purchased from “Katakana” shop in Hikarie building in Shibuya. The tiny shop proudly carries items made in Japan. This is a great stop to pick up unique souvenirs and gifts.

Second image: The graphic simplicity of the store branding/packaging.
Bottom image: The few goods I bought today: postcard, stationery and a new daruma, he is different from the traditional ones because of his conical shape; a particular style from Niigata prefecture. Like the others, he is a symbol of good fortune, however, the conical shape represents a quick recovery from illness/disasters/misfortune.
